Kylie And Kendall Jenner Slapped With Lawsuit For Exploiting Notorious BIG And Tupac Images

Kylie and Kendall Jenner have been slapped with a lawsuit for exploiting Biggie and Tupac Shakur’s images for profit.

According to TMZ, the sisters were dragged to court recently by renowned photographer, Michael Miller, who took the original photos of the late rappers.

Recall that the hip hop community went berserk days ago after hip hop fans discovered that the sisters superimposed their selfies over the iconic images of legendary rappers Tupac and Biggie and put the shirts on sale on their website. Folks dragged them on social media for this and Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, threatened them with a lawsuit.

Shortly after the outrage, the sisters put up a statement, apologizing for the blatant exploitation.

“We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in any way,” said the sisters who have often been called out for appropriating black culture.

Well, that apology is not enough because Michael Miller has come for them.

In the documents obtained by TMZ, the photographer said he never wanted to work with the Jenners, especially Kendall who has had major PR disasters this year.

He is suing for all the profits made off the brief sales of the shirts and refuses to back down.

Meanwhile, Jenner’s rep claims the lawsuit is absurd, that the sisters only gave consent for the design but were not involved in the creation process. He likened that to suing an actor for starring in a movie.

But the gag is: this is not a movie. The shirts were released by the sisters’ company and they gave consent before its production. Plus, they modeled the shirts on their site after production.
